What Is a Motorized Roman Shade?
Fold Control at the Touch of a Button
A motorized Roman Shade replaces manual chain or pull-cord operation with a powered Novo motor inside a Box 50 mm housing. The motor raises and lowers folded fabric, while a compatible remote or smart app tells the system when to adjust or stop.
A complete setup normally combines three parts:
Motor
The Novo K35-TP motor fullset provides the drive that raises and lowers folded fabric within the Box 50 mm housing.
Controller
The remote or smart app sends commands to the compatible Novo motor. WT and TUYA-labelled fullsets require matching control within the Novo ecosystem.
Roman Shade
The shade combines selected fabric, Box 50 mm motorized housing, and standard hardware into the finished folded-fabric opening treatment.
